Звернення Миколи Штейнберга до світового співтовариства ядерної енергетики щодо обстрілу Запорізької АЕС російськими злочинцями 4.03.2022
Я, Микола Штейнберг, головний інженер Чорнобильської АЕС з травня 1986 по березень 1987 року, знаю, що таке ядерна катастрофа не за підручниками, не за статтями в газетах, не за заявами політиків. Я знаю, що це для дітей та дорослих, для рідних та близьких, для тих, хто поруч із епіцентром та тих, хто за тисячі кілометрів. Я знаю, як мирний атом убиває друзів. Я знаю яких сил і скільки життя вартує боротьба з мирним атомом, що вийшов з-під контролю.
Танки, що обстрілюють АЕС – це вкотре пробите дно, аморальне та варварське ставлення до людства загалом та кожного людського життя окремо. Винуватець цього злочину – щур, вихований у стінах радянського КДБ, що відзначає таким чином чергову річницю того дня, коли здохнув його ідеал, його моральний учитель, «великий» Сталін.
Що ще має зробити цей покидьок, щоб світ зрозумів що не глобальне потепління навколишнього середовища вб'є всіх? Вб'є цей божевільний, оточений його співучасниками, вже давно пов'язаних з ним кров'ю та своїм високодуховним вигаданим світом, готовим та здатним убивати дітей на території чужої держави та обстрілювати атомні станції.
Його дружно підтримують «мирні» атомники – жоден з керівників російської атомної енергетики не лише не засудив злочинні дії свого фюрера, але й навіть не висловив побоювання щодо наслідків такої кричущої злочинної дії! Підлі боягузи!
А де ви, ядерники світу? Сховали голови під крило, як страуси? Ви краще за всіх інших знаєте, що ядерна трагедія не буває локальною!
Час політкоректності минув. Невже ви не зрозуміли, до чого привели ігри умиротворення, особливо мадам Меркель (до речі, куди поділася велика ядерна енергетика Німеччини? Замінили російським газом?). Де її яскравий сподвижник Макрон?
Задавіть гадину, доки ще не пізно!
А моїм друзям, і колегам, енергетикам України:
Енергетики не здаються. Ви зараз наодинці, ніхто не допоможе. Витримка та спокій. Професіоналізм. Витримаємо.
А вони подавляться і здохнуть. Їхня доля вже визначена.
Тактичні перемоги не врятують від стратегічної поразки.

Mykola Shteinberg's address to the world nuclear energy community regarding the shelling of the Zaporizhia NPP by Russian criminals 04.03.2022
I, Mykola Shteinberg, the Chief Engineer of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant from May 1986 to March 1987, know what a nuclear disaster is – not from textbooks, not from newspaper articles, not from the statements of politicians. I know what namely this means for children and adults, for relatives and friends, for those who are near the epicenter and those who are thousands of kilometers away. I know how a peaceful atom kills friends. I know what forces and how many lives it costs to fight a peaceful atom that has gone out of control.
Tanks firing at nuclear power plants are once again a broken bottom, an immoral and barbaric attitude towards humanity as a whole and every human life individually. The culprit of this crime is a rat brought up within the walls of the Soviet KGB, thus marking the next anniversary of the day when his ideal, his moral teacher, the "great" Stalin, died.
What else does this scumbag have to do to make the world understand that environmental warming is not the one that will kill everyone? This madman will kill, surrounded by his accomplices, who have long been tied to him with blood and his highly spiritual fictional world, ready and capable of killing children on the territory of a foreign state and shelling nuclear power plants.
He is amicably supported by "peaceful" atomic scientists – none of the leaders of the Russian nuclear power industry not only condemned the criminal actions of his Fuhrer, but did not even express concerns about the consequences of such a blatant criminal action! Sneaky cowards!
And where are you, the nuclear scientists of the world? Have you hidden your heads under your wings like ostriches? You know better than anyone else that a nuclear tragedy does not happen locally!
The time of political correctness has passed. Have you really not understood what the appeasement games led to, especially Madame Merkel (by the way, where has the great nuclear energy of Germany gone? Replaced with Russian gas?). Where is her bright associate Macron?
Crush the viper before it's too late!
And to my friends and colleagues, power engineers of Ukraine:
Power engineers do not surrender. You are alone now, no one will help. Self-control and calmness. Professionalism. We will survive.
And they will choke and die. Their fate has already been determined. Tactical victories will not save them from strategic defeat.
